• Updated: All response header fields (e.g. Content-Type, X-Pagination-Per-Page) must be handled case-insensitive. This has always been mandated by the HTTP standard, but from this date, and as mandated by the HTTP/2 standard, Xurrent will start using lowercase variants (e.g. content-type, x-pagination-per-page).

  Most frameworks handle case-insensitivity for HTTP headers automatically, so this change won’t affect you if you’re using one of the following examples:

  • Ruby SDK: responseMessage.Headers["X-Pagination-Per-Page"]
  • JavaScript: XMLHttpRequest.getResponseHeader("X-Pagination-Per-Page")

  • .NET: System.Net.Http.Headers.HttpResponseHeaders.GetValues() or System.Net.Http.Headers.HttpResponseHeaders.TryGetValues()

    In .NET, both the REST and GraphQL SDKs utilize System.Net.Http.Headers.HttpResponseHeaders and HttpWebResponse.Headers, ensuring they are not impacted by any changes related to header case-sensitivity.
